Application areas:
1. Food industry

Feruloyl esterase can interrupt the crosslinking between ferulic acid and polysaccharides in cell wall materials such as bran and straw through hydrolysis, which efficiently degrades polysaccharides and obtains trans-ferulic acid. |
2. Feed industry

Feruloyl esterase can accelerate the degradation velocity of plant cell wall and other components in the gastrointestinal tracts of animals, improve the digestion extent of feed of animals, and reduce the nutrients discharged with feces, so as to improve the utilization efficiency of feed. |
3. Papermaking and Beating

Feruloyl esterase used in the papermaking industry can assist the removal of lignin, reduce the dosage of chemical bleaching agents, increase the yield of paper pulp, increase paper strength, increase paper whiteness, decrease energy consumption, and reduce COD content in pulping wastewater. |
